Show Notes

In our first episode, The G-Spot is kicking things off with a bang! Grace chats to the charming TV presenter, podcaster and social media star that is James Kavanagh. Grace and James talk about his experiences of sex education as a teen (anyone else remember the TV being wheeled out to the front of class?!), finding support and friendship through the LGBTIQ+ youth organisation BeLonGTo, how to cope with insecurities about your partners' seemingly perfect ex, navigating casual sex that is physically but not erotically satisfying, exploring core desires, telling our partners what we want, not being afraid of our partners' fantasies, and what James would say to his 14 year old self who was grappling with an STI diagnosis after having sex for the first time. And those are just the highlights!

Belong To – LGBTQ+ Youth Ireland is the national organisation supporting LGBTQ+ young people in Ireland. You can contact them on 01 670 6223 (Monday-Friday from 9am-1pm & 2pm-5pm). This number is not a helpline, but BeLonGTo signposts to many important services on their site - www.belongto.org.
