Article 40.3.3 of the Constitution: “Provision may be made by law for the regulation of termination of pregnancy ” Yes? No? The day of reckoning is finally here. On Friday May 25th, the people of Ireland will go to the polls and decide if they want to remove the 8th Amendment from the constitution and allow for the parliament to make the laws concerning abortion.
