There is much focus on maternal health (pregnancy, childbirth, pelvic floor, breastfeeding, postpartum nutrition, etc) but it is also a goldmine of expertise on child psychology, weaning, teething, sleep training, fussy eaters, eating disorders, and how to best navigate and monitor screen time.Dr. Afif El-Khuffash

‘The G Spot’ is back for season 3!

The G-Spot with Grace Alice is back for a new season. Expect candid conversations, expert advice, and some giggles along the way as Grace Alice and her guests tackle the taboo and celebrate the spicy – no topic is off-limits. This season we have a wonderful lineup of guests including Lauren Whelan, Lorraine Keane, Justine Stafford, Barbara Scully and Roe McDermott.

‘Finally, Season 3 of The G Spot is here! Like with our first and second seasons, each guest and episode is meticulously thought out, and I’m delighted with how it’s all come together. Plus, we have doubled our bonus content, so I can say with zero hesitation that this season has been worth the wait. At its core, The G Spot is about honest, open chats about sex and relationships — the good, the tricky, all the gorgeous and messy bits in between. It’s been so exciting to see the podcast grow over the past year. I’m very grateful to have sat down with eight more wise, curious and unique minds. I think listeners will find themselves laughing, learning, and hopefully feeling a little less alone. I’m proud to create a space in Ireland where sex and relationships are talked about with both depth and lightness, and I can’t wait for people to tune in!’ – Grace Alice

You can listen to the first episode on the 9th of July on headstuffpodcasts.com or your platform of choice. The first bonus episode releases on the 11th of July exclusively for HeadStuff+ members.

The Baby Tribe – New Season Out Now!

New season of The Baby Tribe launches on Tuesday 6 May, and neonatologist Dr Afif El-Khuffash and obstetric anaesthesiologist Dr Anne Doherty are back behind the mics.

Episode one features radio presenter, Dancing With the Stars winner, and social media personality, Carl Mullan. In this honest and funny conversation, Mullan opens up about his experiences with fatherhood, the challenges of balancing fame and family, and the unrealistic expectations often portrayed in parenting content.

This season’s line-up is built around the issues listeners keep raising: early gynae health for girls, what placenta percreta means for pregnancy and surgery, practical ways to handle breastfeeding pain and the step-down to weaning, and the spike in parental anxiety that no one wants to admit on Instagram.

Afif brings two decades of NICU experience and a habit of translating journal articles into plain language. Anne works at the sharp end of high-risk obstetrics, where calm decision-making and pain management are daily business. Together they balance clinical detail with the blunt realities parents swap on WhatsApp at 2 a.m.

New episodes out every Tuesday on headstuffpodcasts.com or your podcast platform of choice!

The episode will touch on everything from friendships and feelings, to worries and growing up, all handled with the warm humour and relatability that The Lovely Show is known for.

“Childline provides amazing help to kids and teenagers who need it. We’re delighted to help them in our own small way” Kevin McGahern

“Childline is a wonderful service available to young people in Ireland today offering help to young people going through difficult situations as well as also offering a kind ear to talk to at any time. Being a part of this episode educated me in just how wide the range of conversations are at Childline and we hope we were able to offer help in a small way through discussing our own life experiences and struggles we faced growing up”Justine Stafford.

“At Childline, we know that children and young people need different types of support at different times of their lives, but they always need someone to listen. We’re excited to partner with The Lovely Show, a unique collaboration for Childline. Justine and Kevin offer a refreshing perspective on the challenges faced by children and young people, one that will definitely be appreciated by listeners.”Matthew Boyd, Childline by ISPCC
